Getting Started

Creating an Account

To embark on your journey towards enhanced customer support, the first step is to create a TelePilot AI account. The process is simple and straightforward, starting from the TelePilot AI homepage. Click on either the"Integrate on your site" or the "Get Started" button located at the top right corner, which will redirect you to the TelePilot AI signup page. Provide the required details, verify your email, and you can also choose the option of social authentication via Google.

Upon successfully creating your account, you will land on the TelePilot AI dashboard. This centralized dashboard acts as the control center for your TelePilot AI account, allowing you to configure settings, monitor customer interactions, view metrics, and much more.

Setting Up Your Profile

Before starting with TelePilot AI Dashboard, you might see a page to fill up your company details. This step is optional and involves providing pertinent details about your business, setting your timezone, and your website details. This helps us in customizing TelePilot AI as per your specific needs.

Getting Started with CoPilots

A CoPilot is more than just a chatbot; it's a sophisticated AI assistant that resides on your website, ready to answer queries based on a wealth of learned data. Should a question arise that it cannot handle, the query is seamlessly escalated to your team for further assistance.

1. Adding Documents for Learning

Your CoPilot's intelligence begins with the documents you provide. Here's how to enrich its knowledge base:

  • Navigate to the Documents section via the left-hand menu.
  • Click the + (add) button at the bottom right to open the document addition window.
  • Choose to add a webpage link, upload a file directly, or manually write content for your CoPilot to learn from.

  • For webpages, simply add the URLs one by one and click Save. TelePilot AI will then process and store this data as reference documents for your CoPilot.
  • 2. Creating Your First CoPilot

    Now that your documents are in place, it's time to bring your CoPilot to life:

    • Go to the CoPilot section from the left-side navigation.
    • Click the Create New CoPilot button at the top right.
    • Provide a name and a brief description for your CoPilot, helping you identify its purpose.
    • Select the documents you've added as the knowledge base for your CoPilot.
    • Click Create New CoPilot at the end of the popup to finalize your setup.

    3. Deploying Your CoPilot

    With your CoPilot configured, the next step is integration onto your website:

    • Hover over the three dots near your CoPilot's name to access the menu, and select Install.
    • Copy the provided installation script.

    • Paste this script just before the closing body tag (</body>) on your website. For sites using a frontend library or framework, placing it at the root node should suffice for full-site coverage.
    • Alternatively, if you're using Google Tag Manager, you can paste the script there directly.
    • For a hassle-free installation, you can also provide your developer's email in the popup, and we'll send the script and instructions directly to them.

    If the implementation is successful, a chat widget will appear at the bottom right corner of your website. Clicking on it will open the chat box for your website visitors, allowing them to provide their name and start a chat.

    You can view all incoming messages in your TelePilot AI bot details. All messages will be listed under conversations, along with any additional user information if available.

    Engaging with Visitors

    Once installed, your CoPilot is all set to engage with visitors, providing timely responses to their queries. All interactions and generated leads can be found in the Contacts section, where every visitor who provides contact information is listed.
